The Turner Prize 2010
The result of the world's most contentious art prize will be announced on 6 December. Phaidon's Craig Garrett gives his take on the shortlist.
The exhibition of work (on view at Tate Britain until 2 January 2011) by the artists shortlisted this year for the world's most contentious art prize includes a video piece by collective The Otolith Group, the Turner's first sound installation, courtesy of Susan Philipsz, Angela de la Cruz's violently-rent paintings/sculptures and the controversial narrative paintings of Dexter Dalwood.
The key question, of course, is who will win? Tune in to Channel 4 News on 6 December, when the result will be announced by Fondazione Prada founder Miuccia Prada.
