The legendary photographer and creator of From Galilee to the Negev hits the West Coast later this month

Stephen Shore is heading out on the road this month on a series of west coast dates. The legendary photographer, whose latest book From Galilee to the Negev is published by Phaidon in May will be talking about his life and work and siging copies of his Phaidon books.

The dates kick off at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco on April 23 where Stephen will be in conversation with Sandra Phillips, Curator of Photography at SFMOMA. Stephen will be signing books after the talk which begins at 7pm. Tickets are available here; and if join Phaidon Club, you can get 25% off the ticket price.  

The following evening (April 24) there’s a book reception and signing at 7pm at Hennessey & Ingalls, 1520 N. Cahuenga Boulevard; Los Angeles. It’s free and open to all and you can find more details here

Then, on Friday, April 25, Stephen attends Paris Photo LA at Paramount Pictures Studios, 5555 Melrose Avenue; Los Angeles. At 2pm he’ll be in conversation with fellow photographer Taryn Simon and curator and writer Douglas Fogle, followed by a question and answer session at the Sherry Lansing Theater. Later that afternoon, at 4pm, Stephen will be signing books at the 303 Gallery booth, Stage 31, Stand 2 at the fair
