RIBA Annual Discourse 2010: Lord Foster

Opening hours:
6.30 - 7.45pm

Norman Foster will be giving this year's RIBA Trust Annual Discourse - a tradition established in 1957 - at the RIBA headquarters this Tuesday (12 October).

The Annual Discourse’s central remit is to invite distinguished international speakers to address themes and issues relating to a wider context. Entitled 'Performance', Lord Foster's address will reflect on the issues explored in his early works and how these have evolved through the global practice that he now chairs, over a period spanning more than four decades. He links these to the wider issues of today including designing for a low carbon world, and to his personal passions for art, automobiles, aviating, cycling and cross-country skiing.

The event is part of the RIBA's 'International Dialogues: Architecture and Climate Change' talks series, which runs throughout the autumn.

For tickets to the Annual Discourse, see the RIBA website
