An architectural tour around the $36 million Salvador Dalí Museum
The new museum dedicated to the artist in St. Petersburg, Florida, makes for an immersive visitor experience
The Cube restaurant is a temporary dining concept that combines innovative architectural design and fine dining in unusual settings. Commissioned by Electrolux, the leading home appliances company, The Cube was developed and managed by Belgian event agency Absolute Blue and designed by Italian architects Park Associati.
The structure combines laser-cut aluminium walls with glass enclosures, offering stunning views from unique locations. It is currently situated on Brussel's Arc de Triomphe in the Park de Cinquantenaire. Designed to disassemble relatively easily, The Cube is a travelling restaurant. It will relocate after three months and is set to visit Italy, Russia, Switzerland and Sweden.
Inside, The Cube accommodates up to 18 diners. The interior is designed so that the table drops down from the ceiling, to create more space before and after dining. The kitchen is on display in the centre, and the resident chef prepares tailor-made food in full view. Whilst The Cube is in Brussels, diners will sample the food of either Sang Hoon Degeimbre (of L’Air du Temps) or Bart de Pooter (of De Pastorale). From the cuisine to the design and the location, the intention is "to create an experience that surprises and inspires."
