Crystal CG's Olympic Velodrome video

Watch the Tron-inspired video played in the velodrome before every cycling session

If you've  been lucky enough to see any of the bike races in the Olympic Velodrome you might have wondered who made the cool video that's played on the video monitor at the start of each session. A couple of people have also asked if the music is a new Kraftwerk song. Though it sounds a little like Kraftwerk, (you may call it an homage) it's actually by the Chemical Brothers and is called, understandably, Velodrome. The song was specially commissioned for the cycling.

The video meanwhile was made by the London office of creative agency Crystal CG who say they used the film Tron as a primary influence for the cut. Watch the video below and check out their website for more examples of their work on London 2012.
